The Man Who Invented Swimming
Mick Brady has been a member of several Dublin bands since the 70s. He recently left his day-job as principal of a Dublin secondary school to concentrate on songwriting and "The Man Who Invented Swimming" is his first solo release.
The songs on the album cover a wide variety of topics. Some are serious, some are funny, some are personal, some are political and all are about real experiences. The stories in Mick's songs are based on real life, real people and issues that he cares about. He also write songs just for the sheer fun of it. "The Man Who Invented Swimming" reflects all these aspects of his work.
The album was recorded at The Mill Studios, Swords, Co Dublin and was produced by Peter Eades.
